Coconut Sagu

Thanks to Wee Pin for teaching me in the cooking and..
GAMBATE! for the competition this weekend

Ingredients
1 cup sagu
4 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup pure white grated coconut ~
pinch of salt
pink colouring

1. Wash sagu in running water to get rid of excess starch. Drain.

2. Put the water and sugar in a saucepan. Stir over a slow heat until all the sugar is dissolved.

3. Bring to boil and add sagu. Stir constantly for about 20 - 25 min until sagu become transparent.

4. Pour sagu into a shallow square pan and allow to cool (you can grease the pan with butter)

5. Add a pinch of salt to the grated coconut. When sagu is cold, cut up into pieces and roll each piece in the grated coconut.

6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
